During this summer I would like to complete many tasks although I know that some are not going to be completed. In this blog post, I will be sharing with you my summer goals. I hope that this serves as inspiration for some of you to make a list of your summer goals.
Summer Goals
- Make weekly blog posts
- I would like to make two blog posts per week like I have been doing for the past few months. I hope that when the summer finishes I will no have missed a blog post.
- Try to spend more time outdoors
- It’s summertime, the sun is out, and there are so many things you can do. I would like to spend more time outdoors because I have spent all semester indoors getting all my homework done and studying. It would be nice to travel but due to money restrictions, I will be staying in my hometown.
- Save money
- Since it will be summer, I will have a lot more time in my hands. Which means that I would want to go out more and that leads to spending more. So I would like to go out to fun FREE places instead of places that lead me to spend my money.
- Draw more
- You guys don’t probably know this but I love drawing. I have a sketchbook that I started Freshmen year of high school and never finished. I would like to revisit it and finish it up if I remember to do it.
- Bead more often
- Again around senior year of high school, I developed a love for beading. I have so many purse charms that I have been wanting to make ever since but I can’t seem to find the time. I get extremely distracted by social media and end up wasting my precious time.
- Felt creations
- This hobby I developed this year. I have been making felt bookmarks and hope to make felt coin purses next. I just need to get some more supplies.
- Study a language
- This summer I have a goal to reach approximately A2-B1 level in Italian. I want to finish or possibly finish half of the Italian Duolingo course. After doing this, I would like “A Thousand Splendid Suns” in Italian. Also part of this goal is to complete a couple of lessons in French.
- Find a way to make extra income
- This summer I would like to make extra income because I could use the money for my next school year in college. It could help me pay my books and tuition (if I end up not qualifying for financial aid next school year).
