It’s that time of the year again where the hall of stores are filled with back to school supplies. These supplies, however, can sometimes add up very quickly and leave your wallet very empty. Trust me I know I am a college student.
Although I am on financial aid a majority of the money left over goes to paying for my college textbooks which are SUPPER EXPENSIVE!! Therefore I sometimes need to be very careful about what I spend my money on. I know some of you might be going through the same situation so I will share with you some ways in which you can save some money.
-
Check newspapers for coupons
- A majority of you may get newspapers delivered to your house every week. I know I get a local one delivered to my house for absolutely free. However, some people forget that newspapers come with coupons. My coupons don’t come with the newspaper every week but occasionally. You can use them at practically every store unless the store doesn’t allow it.
-
Check store apps or websites for coupons
- Many store offer coupons through their phone applications. Those stores include Target and CVS. There are also websites that have coupons which you can print such as CVS and Coupons.com.
-
Check stores for deals
- During back to school season, stores offer amazing deals on back to school products such as buy two get one free or maybe buy one get one fifty percent off.
-
Make sure you are on the lookout
- Some stores offer better deals than other so I recommend checking out various stores deals. You never know, one store might have a lower price than another. When it comes to saving money even a dollar can make a difference.
-
Don’t forget to check online too
- Every year more and more people are going back to school shopping online. Amazon always has great deals, but again some store websites might have even better prices or deals so check very carefully.
