So a lot of you might have a big persuasive speech coming up that is worth a lot of points. You might also have absolutely no clue what you are going to make it about. I was just in that same situation a few weeks ago when it was time for me to pick my topics. The tricky part for me was that once a topic was chosen by someone, then we were not allowed to do that topic anymore.
Unfortunately, I was one of the last ones to get a reply back from my professor regarding my topics and I was left with ones that I did not really like.
Hopefully, for your class you can choose topics that are already chosen. If so lucky you!

Persuasive Speech Topics
- should pads be made accessible to women? (At school, at work, etc.)
- Should all interns be paid for their work?
- Should voting be required for people over the age of 18?
- Will advancements in technology improve or affect our way of living?
- Should schools have the right to ban certain books?
- Should students in high school be allowed to leave campus during their lunch period?
- Should celebrities who break the law be given more penalties?
- Should schools require students to take a money budgeting course before they graduate from high school?
- Should people buy more electric cars?
- Should creationism be taught in schools?
- Should puppy mills be banned?
- Should factory farming be more regulated/ banned?
- Should Sex Ed be taught in all schools?
- Should food marketing towards children be illegal/banned/ regulated?
