So lately I have been putting a lot of thought into starting my own business. I have always had this vision of me be self employed and successful since I was a little girl. But the thing is that I don’t have the money to start my own business. My parents currently do not either. Most people tend to go to mommy and daddy to ask for a loan but not me. My parents can barely even pay their rent and I am a struggling college student.
I will not let this stop me. I have devised a plan that will get me the money I need to eventually start a global business. I will like to share this plan with you encase you guys are interested. Plus if it does work, I’ll have something to prove that I created a step by step plan before having a successful business.
I am facing many hurdles that I plan to jump over slow and steady in order to eventually win the race.
My first hurdle is obviously that I DON’T HAVE ANY MONEY RIGHT NOW. like literally none at all. Well only like $400 dollars in my bank account to invest, but other than that NONE. I know most people save several thousand before starting a business however I cannot. There have been people like me in the past. People who don’t have nothing and cake out on top and that gives me reassurance.
I plan to start a small Etsy shop first. I want to sell beaded purse charms, bookmarks, and maybe some felt objects. This will allow me to make a little bit of money. Plus I am the best beaded purse charm maker out there if I do say so myself.
After I have sold the beaded purse charms, bookmarks, and felt objects, I will proceed to invest the money earned on a good soap mold and soap making supples. Soap is something that has been around for ages and will probably never go away, especially in this day in age. These years we are more and more concerned about personal hygiene then we have ever been before. This will generate me even more profit since it is sold a lot of Etsy. I will still continue to make the products I have made before while making the soap.
Next I plan to expand to candle making and bathbombs. They are a little less popular therefore less sales and less profit for me but that’s okay because I will still be selling the other products.
Eventually I will go into the skin care business. I will make handmade skincare products for people who love skincare on Etsy. I will put in a lot of research and hard work making my products. Eventually this combined with a lot of years of hard work will get me the money I need without having to get I loan from the bank with a ton of interest.
Finally after I have the money saved up, I will use that money to start my own makeup brand. This makeup brand will be my ultimate and best creation. I have always had an interest in makeup and how it is created. It will be the ultimate opportunity for me to learn and grow.
This is my whole plan for now. But who knows if I make it big maybe I will expand to a whole other industry.
