Last year I planted some cilantro seeds and some habanero pepper seeds. I was so excited to finally have something that I planted grow.
Then before I knew it my plants had died. My father moved my cilantro from its normal place and my brother accidentally killed my cilantro by putting water that contained paint into my cilantro’s pot. I was honestly super disappointed because the cilantro was getting big at the time of the incident. My habanero plants died because my father, again, moved them from their regular spot. They ended up being eaten by all types of bugs.
By the end of it all, I had become disappointed with my gardening skills even though it was not my fault. I planned to not grow anything until a couple of years later when I would have my own house. Then in those years into the future, I would have a garden with garden beds and would be growing all types of plants. Best of all I thought no one would be able to somehow kill my plants.
Fast forward to today, I have now started to germinate tomato and pepper seeds. I hope that they don’t somehow die on me this year. In the next couple of months, I would like to grow some cilantro too. As of now, I think I am better off waiting to see if my plants actually stay alive before I start growing other plants.
